Who we are

We are a small team of passionate, curious travellers based in the beautiful UNESCO World Heritage city of Bath, UK. We are proud to have been creating inspiring, experiential holiday programmes all over the world since 1993.

Our Vision

We believe that travel is a pleasure with the power to unite us across cultures and continents. But that pleasure comes with responsibility, both to our planet and the people who live on it. ECT Travel takes that responsibility seriously and we are committed to making tourism a force for good.

Our Aims

ECT Travel aims to ensure that all our holidays make a positive social, economic, and environmental contribution to the communities and destinations we travel to. We work hard to minimise the negative impacts on both people and planet of all our tour programmes and internal office activities.

Our Actions

The World Tourism Organisation defines sustainable tourism as "Tourism that takes full account of its current and future economic, social and environmental impacts, addressing the needs of visitors, the industry, the environment, and host communities."

We have made a firm commitment to put sustainable tourism first. In 2022, ECT Travel became a member of Travelife and we have started the process to work, step-by-step, towards complying with international sustainability standards.
