Sören Van Laer

Soren van Laer

Belgian Master Florist Sören Van Laer discovered his passion for flowers while he was still at school. After training under Geert Pattyn, he went on to set up his own studio from where he creates award winning designs inspired by his philosophy, 'young, wild and free.' Workshops are an important part of his professional life. “For me, creating happiness with nature is mixed with my vision and passion for floral design and allowing everyone to enjoy it," he says.

Moniek Vanden Berghe

Moneik Vanden Berghe

Belgian floral designer Moniek Vanden Berghe's spectacular natural floral displays have brought her international acclaim. "I like natural, clear lines," she says, "the pure line of a twig, the pattern of lines in a leaf -  but above all, my work aims to touch the viewer with the exquisite beauty of flowers or other plant material." Her workshops all about the pleasure of  being together with other people who share her love of flowers. "I enjoy helping people to understand why an arrangement works, or doesn’t work," she explains. "My role is to teach the students on my courses to look more deeply at what they are making."

Atsushi Taniguchi

Atsushi

Japanese Master Florist Atsushi Taniguchi's flower shop Jardin du I'llony is one of the most famous and beautiful floral boutiques in Paris. His workshops are, he says, designed to "spread the joy of being with flowers."

Chateau D'Auvers

Set in the grounds of the magnificent 17th century Château d’Auvers, the spiritual home of the French Impressionist art movement, Fête des Arts et du Végétal is Fleur Créatif's latest floral spectacular. Curated by Martine Loobuyck, floral adviser to the Château,  this exhibition will see both grounds and interiors festooned with extraordinary displays by globally-celebrated designers.
