Horticultural Magic in Singapore
The names of the garden designers and floral artists who will be exhibiting at the Singapore Garden Festival 2026 have been revealed … and it’s a stellar line up! We have cast our eyes over the full list and thought we’d share our top five talents to look forward to in the prestigious Show Gardens and Floral Windows to the World displays.
Show Gardens Exhibitors
Mark & Emily Cook (USA), owners of Mark Cook Landscape & Contracting, won both Gold and Best of Show for the Landscape Garden category, along with the Horticulture Excellence Award at SGF 2024.
Eliam Eng & Andy Eng (Singapore) are also returning SGF winners having scooped Gold, Best of Show and the Best Construction Award in 2022. They are both from Nyee Phoe Flower Garden, a landscape architecture company that celebrated its 112th anniversary in 2023.
Kazuyuki Ishihara (Japan) is a renowned landscape artist who began his career in the Ikenobo school of floral arrangement. Having swapped flower selling for garden construction, he gained global recognition for his unique use of moss and meticulous design. Often referred to as the ‘Green Magician’ by Queen Elizabeth II, Ishihara has won numerous Gold Medals at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, including Garden of the Year and People's Choice in 2025.
Stefano Passerotti (Italy) is a renowned landscape designer who crafts gardens that honour nature as the ultimate source of cosmic harmony and environmental tribute. His visionary spirit has translated into significant competitive success, including a Gold Medal at the Hampton Court Flower Show and a Silver Medal at the Gardening World Cup in Japan.
Andrew Wilson & Gavin McWilliam (UK) are one of Britain’s premier garden and landscape design practices. Their work is characterised by a blend of imaginative design concepts, a sophisticated understanding of planting and materials and a commitment to meticulous craftsmanship. In 2025, they won the Society of Garden and Landscape Designers Awards have also be awarded Silver Gilt (2023) and Gold (2017) medals at RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
Floral Windows to the World Competitors
Akuang (China) is a visionary floral artist and designer who studied under masters such as Gregor Lersch and Tetsunori Kawana and is passionate about colour theory and architectural floral art. Her portfolio spans prestigious international exhibitions, including the Fleuramour Festival in Belgium.
Anja Ersing (Germany) is an accomplished German Florist Master with a career spanning over 25 years. Anja is particularly recognised for her leadership roles as Head Florist and Head of Master at numerous Federal and State Garden Shows across Germany. An ambassador for Floral Fundamentals and a contributor to leading trade journals, she continues to influence the global industry through high-profile exhibitions, such as the 2025 Féerie Florale in Belgium.
Joanna Kiedacz (Poland) is an International Master Florist and MSc in Horticulture whose work is defined by a ‘quiet structural intensity’ and architectural precision. Drawing inspiration from traditional Polish ‘pająk’ straw chandeliers, she specialises in intricate, foam-free designs that balance strict geometry with organic chaos. Mentored by legends such as Gregor Lersch and World Champion Tomasz Max Kuczyński, she also serves as a Floral Fundamentals Ambassador and a certified international judge, bringing a sophisticated, sustainable and meditative approach to the global floral stage.
Matthew Landers (Australia) is a powerhouse in the Australian floral industry, winning over 50 gold medals by the time was was 23. Today, he is a celebrated International Master of Floristry who has won multiple gold medals at the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show. Through his Matthew Landers Academy, he now mentors over 400 students annually, defining the gold standard for Australian floral design.
Keith Lin (Singapore) is an award-winning landscape and floral designer with over 15 years experience delivering world-class landscapes, international garden festivals and large-scale public installations. In 2017, Keith earned global recognition by winning Gold at the Chelsea Flower Show, becoming the only Singaporean to receive this honour.
