Celebrating Quilts in Houston

The doors have just closed on the 45th edition of the International Quilt Festival Houston, and what a show it was! As our Tour Manager Steve Hartnell prepared to fly home, we asked him to put down his suitcases and send us a few pictures of his favourite artworks.
A Gift from the Sky by Shizuko Kuroha
Beautiful Taiwan - the Aunt of Dried Persimmon by Yu-Chen Liang
Clockwise from top: Missouri Barn by LeAnn Hileman; A Joyful Blessing by Julie Bohnsack; My Big Face by Cindy Stohn; Where Buffalo Roamed by Margery Hedges
Black and White and Red All Over by Jan M Hutchinson & Mary Eilerts
Joint by Mitsuko Kinoshita
With so much to feast our eyes on, it's no wonder that Houston is one of the highlights of the international quilting calendar. We're working on our 2020 programme now, so watch this space.
