Amiens is a must for heritage lovers, boasting a splendid cathedral, as well as 'floating gardens'.

The mild, warm climate of Normandy provides the perfect backdrop for plants to thrive, as demonstrated by 3 of the best gardens on our varied tour.

Abbaye de Valloires - located at the foot of a majestic Cistercian Abbey in the heart of the Authie Valley, the Valloires Gardens are truly unforgettable.

Chateau de Bosmelet - more than 900 varieties of vegetables, flowers and fruit combine in carefully sequenced areas to form a 'Rainbow Potager'.

Le Clos du Coudray - this is an organic garden in Etampuis, with an adjoining nursery and a stream.  The garden is divided into a Potager, Rock Garden, Exotic Garden, and Rose Garden.

The visit includes time to browse their impressive Garden Centre.

La Taverne du Vieux Marche - Normandy is renowned for cider-making, apples, pastries, exquisite sea food and dairy products such as Normandy butter, cream and Camembert.

Sample some of the local delicacies at this picturesque, friendly, terrace restaurant.
