In the centre of Calais is the lovely Flemish style town hall, which celebrates the union of the cities of Calais and Saint Pierre in 1885. In the gardens of the town Hall, stands the statue by Rodin "The Six Burghers". There is also the magnificent Tour de Guet situated in Calais Nord on the Places d'Armes, one of the few surviving pre-war buildings.
