Who we are
We are a small team of passionate, curious travellers based in the beautiful English city of Bath and are proud to have been creating inspiring holiday programmes all over the world since 1993.
We believe that holidays should be more than just a welcome break from the daily routine; we believe that they should also connect you to your destination’s history and culture and be filled with opportunities to participate, rather than simply observe. Our decades of experience and close ties with local experts and specialist associations mean that our itineraries stand out from the crowd. We seek out the hidden gems and the less travelled roads while also ensuring every detail is meticulously planned so that you can focus on what really matters: time spent with friends, exploring new places and soaking up unforgettable new experiences.

We are meticulous about the partners we work with, from the airlines to our chosen hotels and venues, ensuring that they comply with the highest hygiene standards.
Our tours are accompanied by an experienced Tour Manager who will look after you every step of the way.
We comply with all necessary travel legislation as required by the UK Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992. We operate a Trust Account for our groups travelling by coach, which ‘ring-fences’ their payments until tour departure. This means that, in the unlikely event of our financial failure, the Trustees of the Trust Account can authorise the full reimbursement of customers’ payments whose tours are affected, or have not yet departed.
All the flights and flight-inclusive holidays on this website are financially protected by the ATOL scheme. When you pay you will be supplied with an ATOL Certificate. Please ask for it and check to ensure that everything you booked (flights, hotels and other services) is listed on it. We offer crisis management certification and support. Staff at ECT take part in an ongoing programme of ‘Code Red’ training. In the event of any unforeseen incident occurring, all ECT employees are ready to respond in a professional manner to the needs of our customers and their relatives.
